Tell Congress: Block Trump’s $23 billion weapons sale to the UAE!
We demand you do everything in your power to stop Trump’s $23 billion weapons sale to the United Arab Emirates.
Why is this important?
Trump is hellbent on lighting the world on fire. Here in the US, he’s touting unfounding claims that undermine our very democracy. But in the Middle East, Trump wants more US-made bombs to drop in and around an already bombed-out Yemen.
Trump wants to sell $23 billion worth of jet fighters, drones, and ammunition to the United Arab Emirates,1 despite knowing full well that they’re likely to be used in the war in Yemen.

The people of Yemen have already watched US-made bombs hollow out their country and plunge them into the worst humanitarian crisis the world has ever seen. That was before the coronavirus pandemic!
Since March of 2020, the situation in Yemen has only gotten worse, with millions of people on the brink of starvation. That’s the background in which Trump wants to arm Yemen’s neighbor, the United Arab Emirates, with billions in jet fighters, drones, and ammunition.
The world stage is well aware that the UAE is involved with the war in Yemen.2 Selling arms to the UAE means more people in Yemen will either die by US-made weapons, or the devastating poverty and destruction those weapons leave behind.
We can’t let Trump torch the world on his way out of office.
