Tell Congress - Don't Let Trump Dismantle the Department of Education!

On November 18th, Trump made further moves to dismantle the Department of Education, illegally moving key agencies to other Departments with no approval from Congress. The Dept of Ed plays a key role in providing a quality public education to students in our country who have been historically underserved - low income students, students with disabilities, and students of color. We need to do everything we can to stop the Trump administration from dismantling this department, weakening supports for students, and gutting funding for our public education system.
Why is this important?
The Trump administration is illegally shifting agencies within the Department of Education that oversee billions in support for our public schools, especially our most vulnerable students, to other departments with zero education expertise.
This is an unprecedented and blatantly illegal move that will harm students across America - Skyrocketing class sizes, cutting supports for students with disabilities, gutting job-training opportunities, and making for post-secondary education less accessible.
