Tell Nassau County Executive Mangano, NiFa, Albany Official NO Nassau NICE Bus Cut April 2017

We're group of bus riders and train riders calling on Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano, Albany elected officials and NiFA to increase funding for Nassau Inter County Express Buses before April to keep following buses running:
Weekend n1 service between Elmont and Jamaica.
Elmont Flexi Shuttle- Via Corona Av (former MTA Long Island Bus Route N2 route/replace NICE n2/8 Green Acres Loop)- Rush Hour
Mercy Medical Center Shuttle- n17 Rush Hour
n19 Freeport- Sunrise Mall
n21 Great Neck-Glen Cove
n22A Roosevelt Field-Jamaica
n23: 60 minutes headway weekday.
n35: Baldwin Harbor-Westbury
n36: Lynbrook-Freeport
n45: Bellmore-Roosevelt Field via Nassau Community College
n51: Merrick-Roosevelt Field via Nassau Community College
n54/55: Hempstead-Amityville
n58 Great Neck- Ends of Kings Point
Freeport Shuttle- n62
Hicksville-Wantagh Shuttle (n73 without Levitown)
n78 Plainview-Hicksville
n79 Walt Whitman-Hicksville
n88 Freeport-Jones Beach

If n19, n54/55, n78/79, n80/81 is cut how will people will connect to Suffolk County Transit Buses? They cannot.

n22A is very crowded. Alternative will increase more crowds on n22 and n22X.

Runing 60 minutes headway weekday on n23 bus is insane because n23 bus is most busiest route on north-south shore routes.

Also ending n58 service after 9pm will be bad idea because deepest part of Great Neck is pure darkness with no street lights and it not safe for passengers. Only lights might come from passing by cars with their headlight.

Also forcing n21 non-rush hour result passenger to take 3 buses, n20G, n20H and n27 bus.

Also cutting n35 in north of Hempstead will leave Westbury residents stranded with no train/bus service.

Weekend n80/81 buses are important for people who depends on buses.

n36 is fishing buses and it's important route for fishing communites of Lynbrook-South Freeport, well as Freeport n62 Shuttle.

This service cut will affect both poor and rich people.
How will immigrants will get to south shore to lawn people's lawn without bus service.

You'll be stranding Suffolk-Nassau County bus connections and many businesses like Sunrise Mall, Walt Whitman Mall will loose their businesses as result of bus service cut.
To elected officials of New York State Assembly, Senates, it's not true that everyone drives. Some don't have cars. What happens if trains break down and every cars and taxis break down, alternative option will be buses.

Please consider increase more funding for NICE Bus.

Why is this important?

NICE Bus is private-public operation of NICE Bus, Nassau-Inter County Express which have budget issue overseen by Nassau County Bus Transit Committee. They get funding from Nassau County, State and Federals. If elected officials wouldn't take action, eastern portion of Nassau County and western portion of Suffolk County will stranded in April 2017, well as no more connection betwen NICE Bus Able-Ride and SCAT Paratransit.
