Tell Sen. Fetterman to Not Support Another Endless War
Senator Fetterman was the only Democrat yesterday to vote in favor of Trump’s ill-advised and unconstitutional war with Iran.
We need to make it clear to John that his vote against the War Powers Resolution was wrong.
Why is this important?
When he ran for the US Senate, John told voters, “ending costly wars of choice and embracing diplomacy is my kind of foreign policy.” Pennsylvanians believed him. Yesterday was his chance to prove it and he let us down.
Iran is a bad actor and no one mourns the loss of its Supreme Leader. But this unconstitutional war has no clear strategy that helps Americans while it has already cost taxpayers over $5 billion. And John’s vote is a blank check to Trump.
Without every voice calling on the Senator, he will continue to vote against our interests.
