To: The Tennessee State House, The Tennessee State Senate, and Governor Bill Lee

Tennessee State Senators and Representatives: Stop cutting benefits for our veterans.

Over the last two years, Tennessee's senators and representatives have made significant cuts in veterans' state benefits, such as cutting the amount of license tags vehicles last year for Purple Heart and 100% Veteran. As of today, April 22, 2015 your senators and representatives voted to end property tax relief for the 100% permanent and total veterans that has been around for 42 years. These cuts must stop.

Why is this important?

Our veterans that have served our country during wartime and have sacrificed so much for this country should not have the state budget balanced on their backs, when large corporations like FedEx get 10 million in tax relief for fuel and continue to make a huge profit every year.

Our veterans should be our top priority. These cuts should stop immediately and these benefits should be restored to our veterans.
