To: The Wisconsin State House, The Wisconsin State Senate, and Governor Tony Evers
THANK YOU for flying the LGBTQ+ PRIDE Flag at the State Capitol!
Dear Governor Evers and Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes,
We want to thank you for publicly displaying the Rainbow Pride Flag at the WI State Capitol Building. At a time when the LGBTQ+ community is under attack, we thank you for lifting LGBTQ+ people up as an important part of the fabric of our beloved state of Wisconsin. As you said, "The people of Wisconsin have made critical steps toward LGBTQ+ equity, but we recognize that there is more work to do to ensure that every person in our state is treated with respect and experiences full equality in their lives."
Our LGBTQ+ community and our friends, loved ones and allies thank you and look forward to seeing the LGBTQ+ Pride Flag flying next year in June for 2020 Pride! Maybe we could even fly the Pride flag with black and brown stripes to affirm and show our support for our most marginalized members in the queer community.

Why is this important?
To show support for Governor Tony Evers and Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes for flying the LGBTQ Pride Flag at the state capitol for the first time!
