The dialogue should be poverty, not deficits

We hereby affirm that a national dialogue has to begin to address the rising number of average Americans who find themselves at or near the poverty level, and reasons behind it.

Why is this important?

Starting a dialogue on the real problem facing our country, which is more and more people finding themselves at or below the poverty line, and stop the focus on the deficit.
