The FCC must delay its vote on net neutrality

Millions of fake comments have corrupted the FCC's public process on net neutrality—including 2 million submitted using the stolen identities of real people, a crime under New York law. Yet the FCC is moving full steam ahead with a vote based on this corrupted process, while refusing to cooperate with an investigation. The FCC must postpone this vote until we can get to the bottom of what happened.

Why is this important?

As New York's Attorney General, my office has been investigating the flood of fake comments submitted to the FCC in the public comment period for net neutrality. We have now found at least 2 million fake comments that were likely submitted using the stolen identities of people across the country. Moving forward with this vote would make a mockery of our public comment process and reward those who perpetrated this fraud to advance their own hidden agenda.
