The disabled who marry should be entitled to thier full SSI or SSDI checks regardless of whether a spouse works.
Why is this important?
My husband, Joe, is totally disabled by Multiple Sclerosis, but would lose his SSI if I went to work. Though I would like to work, without his SSI, at age 59, I could not make enough to support us. The disabled who marry should be entitled to thier SSI checks regardless of whether a spouse works or not.
