To: The United States Senate

The Senate should amend the House Bill to Repeal and Replace ACA to Fix rather than to Replace ACA

The Senate should amend the Bill to Repeal and Replace ACA ; instead fixing ACA:
Medicaid should be expanded by increasing taxes of higher incomes.
Pre-Existing Conditions should be permanently recognized by all states by assignation of higher fees to those who are covered that have higher incomes.
There should be a Prescription plan aggressively enforced putting ceiling of costs and time limits to increase costs- and lowering of patent time to a maximum of 5 years for all drugs- Regulation of new drug s should be loosened by FDA to allow expediting their entrance into marketplace.
The penalties for not having insurance should only be applied to those with higher incomes.

Why is this important?

The bill to repeal and replace ACA passed by the House of Representatives is both arbitrary and dangerous for all poor and elderly. The Senate should amend this bill to fix the ACA rather than replace it by ensuring a fair and just system where those who are in the higher income brackets can support the system; rather than putting an unfair burden and threatening the health of the poor and elderly, and to stop the greed of the Insurance Companies and Pharmaceutical Industry by making drugs both affordable--and by making it easier to get new drugs into the marketplace.
