To: President Donald Trump, The United States House of Representatives, and The United States Senate

To Establish a National Election Commission

We request that the Federal Government establish a Non-Partisan Commission to plan and implement a national elections process for federal elections for President, House of Representatives and the United States Senate which guarantees results reflecting the will of the majority voting. Activities to be considered should include the establishment of Congressional Districts based on non-partisan considerations to ensure that the efforts and expression of the majority of voters within each State are realized in the distribution of Members of Congress.

Why is this important?

Several States are currently considering reforming their electoral voting approach based on electoral votes per Congressional District. This would result in a variety of approaches toward the election of the President from State to State. And, within each State, it would magnify the problem created by party politics controlling the establishment of the Congressional Districts. While more voters supported Democratic candidates, the Republicans control the House of Representatives. The same result would have occurred had electoral votes been allocated by Congressional District.
