We are All Sacred in the Eyes of the Divine and and we are All either the descendants of or are refugees or immigrants ourselves.
All of the current refugees, immigrant children and families are our sisters and brothers. and we need to learn to honor that. Are you with me in demanding monthly public transparency for
1) the location and health of each detainee
2) a 40 day due process for all detainees
3) a 5 day (maximum) hold for minors
4) status of legal representation for each detainee
Why is this important?
After traveling to Tornillo immigration center during Christmas Occupation 2018, which thankfully was closed due to heavy media presence and visiting politicians, let us learn to honor the Sacred life and health of EVERY refugee and immigrant through a shortened due process and legal representation to ensure their immediate safety.
