Bring all of our troops home now, 2014 is too far down the road. We are waging the biggest military debacle in the history of this United States of America. Too many lives have been given to a cause that started out as a complete lie. And every new president promising to end the war just makes their own war bigger than the last president. Enough!
Trillions of dollars and other valuable resources have been a complete waste, unaccounted for materials and many billions of dollars.
All the US Government has accomplished, is to one more time use US troops to further a cause that was based on a huge lie. The only thing we have accomplished is making the world very much more unsafe than it was before we invaded Iraq. And the world is more unsafe the longer we stay in these far off places that have absolutely no bearing on our security.
Multiple combat tours have brought on the biggest number of suicides among troops to a record number, This alone is cruel and unusual punishment to the young people sacrificing their health and in some cases their lives. The President doesn't even value the human lives that are being given for a very bad cause.
I propose a 50% cut in all Defense Department spending, to be implemented before Dec 31,2012. Bring all of our troops home now!
