United Methodist Church: Stop Discriminating Against LGBTQ People
The Washington Post reports that the United Methodist Church, "the United States's third-largest faith community voted to emphasize its opposition to same-sex marriage and gay clergy." They must reverse this decision.1

Why is this important?
We opposed this discrimination as members of the United Church of Christ in the early 1970s. I grew up in the Methodist Church, and I find it hard to believe that this issue is still contentious in this sister Protestant denomination nearly 50 years later.
