USA Track & Field Partners With A Predator

Last year USA Track & Field made a horrible decision to name the University of Phoenix its "official education partner." By a wide margin, the University of Phoenix has piled up more student debt ($35.5 billion) than any other "college." No "real" university has accounted for even $10 billion.

Why is this important?

The University of Phoenix — and its for-profit ilk — have been significantly responsible for the student debt crisis in the United States. These outfits prey upon poor and minority students as well as veterans. Clearly, these 'for-profit" vultures — who have dismal graduation rates and high default rates — should go out of business. It is shameful that a national governing body has partnered with such an agency, who's own founder has been highly critical of what his creation has become.
