Valley Vista Road Traffic Calming
Have you noticed excessive speeding and/or careless drivers on Valley Vista Road? If so, please add your name in support of Valley Vista Road Traffic Calming.
Drivers must slow down and share the road and most of all, be respectful of this neighborhood. There are joggers, walkers, kids playing, deer and other wildlife, as well as several dangerous intersections without traffic signs or signals. I have personally witnessed several near-misses when an accident nearly occurred or people have been nearly run over. I am confident many are leaving the golf course or shooting range after a few or more drinks. We need to be proactive about this issue before something terrible happens.
These issues will likely only increase as the new sports complex begins operations in early 2018 when many teens will be driving this road daily.
This can be one of the nicest and safest neighborhoods in all of Walnut Creek. Let's not let the carelessness of others risk the lives of our residents.

Why is this important?
I will utilize community support to initialize a measure for the City of Walnut Creek to consider installing traffic calming measures (e.g., stop signs, speed humps, bump out, etc.) in order to keep our neighborhood residents safe.
