Violence Against Women and Children Registry

Create a registry and require those who have committed violent acts (assault of any kind including but not limited to physical, sexual, and emotional abuse) against women and children to register including those on a deferred probation status.

Why is this important?

I was a victim a a violent assault in 2011 and the court system allowed my attacker to walk free against my wishes. He has a history of assault against women but that information was not readily available to me. Had his complete criminal history been listed when I ran a background check on him, I would have NEVER entertained his acquaintance.
