This partnership normalizes the gun lobby's influence in everyday life, and gives more institutional credibility to the NRA brand. We cannot continue to allow the NRA, a company that props up violence, to have the ultimate say in our public safety. The NRA is consistently contacting members advising them how to vote, advocates for less gun safety, and spent $30.3 million in support of Trump in 2016 alone. We need to act today: Tell Visa to take a stand against and end its troubled relationship with the gun lobby.
Why is this important?
The NRA is anything but a normal organization supporting sportsmen. They represent gun manufacturers and will do anything to sell more guns. Time & time again we are witness to carnage in our country because the NRA will not support reasonable laws to promote gun safety. VISA should not be a part of this.
