War & Casualties are NOT Necessary!!!
We have the technology to never have to have another war again. Nobody besides the Military Industiral Complex benefits from War. It's time to start using this technology for Peace. If our government wants to Police the world so badly they should prove it by using the technology that they already have to take action, and stop sacrificing innocent soldiers and civilians.
Why is this important?
The purpose if this petition is to make our government realize that they need to start behaving in a civilized manner. They are setting a horrible example by abusing the power they have and squandering the resources available to them.
For my entire life, I have watched as my country bounces from one war/conflict/invasion to the next. I feel like I have never known a time of peace. I also realize that in spite of that, I have been lucky. Anyone trying to live in any of these War Zones, has experienced horrors that I can not even comprehend. This is wrong on so many levels, I do not even know where to begin. War is a barbaric thing of the past, and it is time that we treat it as such.
The United States of America is one of, if not the Greatest Powers on Earth. With that great power comes great responsibility. We should be leading by example. We must be the change that this world needs. We must practice Peace instead of War.
