We demand the truth in the FSU rape case!
For nearly a year, a Florida State freshman's rape case was hushed up, and there was virtually no investigation by either Tallahassee police or FSU officials. Why? Because the accused was prized football player Jameis Winston.
Even though the young woman identified Winston as her assailant, even though at one part there was video footage, even though she was covered in bruises and had semen in her underwear, the police didn't interview Winston and never took his DNA and FSU did nothing to take the case further.
We demand that the Tallahassee attorney's office not only investigate this case, but launch an independent review of FSU and the local police force's appalling negligence.
