Trump is moving forward with his racially charged push to address illegal immigration by spending billions on a wall between the US & Mexico. The Wall is not economically feasible and will not significantly affect the immigration (or drug traffic) problem.
Why is this important?
Not only is this an expensive and flawed solution, the wall would infringe upon private property - AND would violate over 30 laws - including the Endangered Species Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act, and the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
John F Kelly, the Secretary of Homeland Security, says - "It won't work. A physical barrier will not do the job, it has to be a layered defense."
