Using the Espionage Act to jail Reality Winner under a 63 month sentence without a fair trial is one of our country’s greatest travesties. In May 2017 she provided news media with classified information that showed Russia was attempting to hack into our voting machines. Trump's prosecutors "nailed her to the door".
Why is this important?
Democracy died a little when Reality Winner's civil rights were taken away. Using the Espionage Act to imprison "political opponents" should concern us all.
