The State Department of Transportation says a recent traffic study shows a stoplight for the lone entrance to Brenda Cowan Elementary is unwarranted. The Richmond Road entrance is the only way in or out of the school. With a current 55 mph speed limit, the lack of traffic controls at the entrance will make an incredibly dangerous intersection for the kids, staff, and parents.
