We urge the MA State Legislature to work with Governor Patrick for a meaningful, long-term plan for real investment in our schools, roads, bridges, and transit. It is time for bold action to strengthen education and transportation in the Commonwealth.
Why is this important?
Massachusetts has an historic opportunity to make a real investment in our schools, roads, and public transit in order to create good jobs and strengthen our communities. Yet this week, the legislature is faced with voting on an inadequate proposal. We can’t continue to kick the can down the road. Now is the time to be bold and address our aging trains and schools, our crumbling roads and bridges.
