We the people of Boston, a city with a large population of Haitians and Dominican, denounce the actions of the Dominican government that legally create a second class peoples of Dominicans of Haitian descent and Haitian migrants.
Why is this important?
It is unacceptable that the Dominican government has constitutionalized the denationalization of Dominicans who are of Haitian descent. Furthermore, it is a grave injustice to go a step further in planning out deportations of darker skinned Dominicans, many of whom are of Haitian descent, to Haiti, a country foreign to them in land and in language, in addition to the maltreatment of Haitian migrant workers.
