Withdraw from the UN's Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs
Forty years of federal marijuana prohibition has proved that it *doesn't* stop people using marijuana and it *does* cause FAR more harm than good. We can make our children far safer by legalizing marijuana like wine!
As the United Nations won't allow any country to legalize marijuana while it's a signatory of the Single Convention, we need to either get marijuana removed from the Single Convention or to withdraw the U.S. from the treaty.
The American people can have no confidence in any legislator that undermines the safety of our children by voting to stay in the Single Convention and continue the marijuana prohibition!
Why is this important?
The United Nations won't allow any country to legalize marijuana like wine while it's a signatory of the Single Convention.
As the federal marijuana prohibition causes FAR more harm than good and reduces the safety of our children, we need to END it.
The only way to legalize adult marijuana sales is to either get marijuana removed from the Single Convention or for the U.S. to withdraw itself from the treaty.
