Yale, Conduct a Private Investigation of Brett Kavanaugh

Brett Kavanaugh has made highly questionable statements, under oath, about his behavior toward alcohol and toward women, including behavior that transpired during his years as a student at Yale, on its campus. It is likely that more information and evidence can be gathered to help evaluate the veracity of his sworn statements simply by leveraging the Yale community and their accounts of Brett Kavanaugh when they knew him at Yale. Regardless of whether our country decides to pursue an FBI investigation of the allegations against him, Yale has the power to conduct its own investigation of his behavior as a Yale student, and should do so both to preserve the integrity of our nation’s institutions and to champion its commitment to the pursuit of truth.
