28th Ammendment
Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:
"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ."
"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ."
Why is this important?
Let's put an end to Congress making laws to suit their own agenda instead of what is for the best and highest good for all concerned.
I am a widow raising a child. My survivor benefits ended when she turned 16 instead of 18 (what is used to be a few years ago). Her survivor benefits will end when she is 18 instead of through college (also what it used to be a few years ago). My situation is minor compared to what others have lost due to the benefits Congress has seen fit to unduly grant themselves.
