Reinstitute Private Sector Pension Plans that will have input from Corporate America and Employees of those Coporations.
Why is this important?
401K's are Volatile and Do Not Gaurantee Retirement Security for the Private Sector. The Public Sector typically have this Security from Pension Plans. We read all the time about individuals who retired and their 401K Plans had been significantly Depleted due to Economic conditions, which 401K's are based on. Corporate America has and will continue to Eliminate Pension Plans because they cannot tolerate having Funds that they cannot use.
