Limit the salary/stipend that Congress gets to a maximum of $100, 000 with no term limits and no retirement, other than Social Security and their contributions to their own retirement from that salary/stipend. Remove all benefits,other than basic medical/dental as authorized under the current Health Care Act or its replacement.
Why is this important?
In today's system of politics, too much money is used in the wrong places. The top priority should be to help our Country get back on a fiscal balance. There are a number of places where cuts can be made that won't affect the People and will help to encourage politicians who are interested in the Country and not their pocketbooks or special interests.
