Why is this important?
It is time that our elected officials start putting policy ahead of their party. This bickering between both parties has to stop. They are no longer truly concerned about the American people and issues that effect them. Each party refuses to reach a bipartisanship on policies that will benefit the American people.
It is time that they start to cooperate with each other and make a genuine effort to reach an agreement on policies rather than putting the party interest first.
Furthermore they need to stop being in the pockets of big corporations and stop putting the needs and interests of these corporations ahead of the American people.
