Stop the way Walmart compensates their employees with below average living cost wages.
We've recently Walmart CEO Mike Duke stated that his company provides a competitive wage to employees, but this is not true. Walmart offers its workforce only $8.81 per hour. This is not competitive wages or sufficient benefits to adequately support a family or individual. Walmart needs to be encouraged to change the way they compensate their employees.
Why is this important?
Walmart is another example of a large American corporation that outsources to other countries and makes large profits in the USA, but still does not pay their own employees the competitive wages or offer long-term benefits so that these employees can live above the poverty level.
