A new federal program to reduce class sizes, build and/or provide incentives for new schools. A complete reassessment of public school administration costs to assure that the public is getting the most out of their education dollars. Communities should be encouraged to come together to discuss their educational goals and potential programs for young and older citizens who want to learn.
Why is this important?
Education has always been a focus in my family's life. Not only has this been a means for my family to provide for themselves but also a means to enjoy the full richness of life. We need a national conversation and movement towards making our populace proud of their knowledge and encourage literacy to ensure our citizens' ability to participate fully in our democracy.
