Regulate gun ownership using the prototype of Automobiles i.e.:
- Registration renewal per (X) years.
- Mandatory background check/approval and re-regisration when appropriate in all circumstances of transfer of gun ownership including:Conventional Gun purchase from stores, Gunshow purchase, Purchases across State lines, Private Party to Party sales, Gift, Loan.
- Mandatory immediate notification upon theft or loss of weapon and/or munitions by Registered owner.
- The Registered owner is legally responsible on a Federal level for any misuse of their weapon.
- Munition clips shall be limited to six individual shots.
Why is this important?
I encourage all people - gun owners and non gun owners to embrace these common sense ideas of my mother Dessie Roberts, to help our country get a grip on our current inadequate gun safety system. Sign this petition, and pass it on.
