A POOR MAN'S TAX
Stop Taking the NorthSide Green while keeping the SouthSide clean in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Why is this important?
In the inner City of Poughkeepsie,NY, where most of the lower income citizens live, there are much fewer properties where people can park their cars off the street. As a result, a large amount of revenue is being gained by the city on Alternate Side of the Street Parking Tickets On The Much Poorer North Side. Sleeping past 9AM costs $20, $50 when it is not paid quickly. I forgot the tickets. It just cost me my paycheck to get my car back. It was towed on Good Friday, the day before My Excellent Mother's 73rd Birthday. City Hall closed, I cried for hours, then decided it wouldn't happen to anyone else. To honor My Mother, I want to be the Last One. This is an outrage!
