The Electoral College has become obsolete. It is a method that is vulnerable to unfair and maneuverable trickery. When we depend on chosen selected officials to confirm the President and VP it can nullify the choice of the majority. The country is changing to a more diverse and socially inclusive society. It is vital for the people's choice and voice to reflect the Democratic process.
Why is this important?
THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE IS OPEN TO BECOMING A DECEPTIVE METHOD THAT CAN BE MANUEVERED TO ALTER THE CHOICE OF THE MAJORITY AND CAN BE ENHANCED THROUGH VOTER SUPPRESSION AND REDISTRICTING. IT IS TIME FOR THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE TO BE HEARD, MAKING THIS A TRUE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS. THE FINAL DECISION FOR THE PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES SHOULD BE MADE BASED ON THE VOTE FROM THE MAJORITY.
