We, the American people, are enraged by the Electoral College's ability to mangle our democratic right to vote for who is our nation's President. Please regard our message to you that the Electoral College must be abolished, and that the vote for the President MUST be based on popular vote of the people.
Why is this important?
The Electoral College takes away our rights as U.S. citizens to vote for our President. The President is not chosen directly by you, the voter, but instead, chosen indirectly by the Electoral College. The Electoral College is composed of "electors" who are chosen by each state based on their population to elect the President, and the truth is, NO ELECTOR IS FORCED TO VOTE ACCORDING TO THE STATE'S POPULAR VOTE!
