The President of the United States should be determined by ALL the people, not voters in select "swing" states. One person, one vote.
Why is this important?
The Electoral College is an antiquated institution which was originally meant to disenfranchise the electorate at large. The President-Elect should be the person who received the most votes, period. This did not happen in 1876, 1888, 2000, and in 2016.
