Replace the presidential portrait of Abraham Lincoln at the Smithsonian national portrait gallery that refers to him as a "white n***er" with a image befitting his stature and impact on American history. This image insults his legacy and African-Americans in particular including our current president and indicts us to the world as ignorant citizens. If we can ban the Confederate flag, the we can take there label off of President Lincoln.
Why is this important?
Of the over 120 portraits of Lincoln owed by the Smithsonian, it offends me that the newspaper picture calling him a white ni**er is the one the world and all visitors see.
