We are very upset with some state legislators who will not help pass the bills of Adoptees Rights in the State of New York, so we created this petition to remind these state legislators that they were elected to serve ALL the people in the Empire State, and not to ignore the pain and anxiety of the adult Adoptees who voted them into office.
Why is this important?
The reason for this petition is some of the New York Assemblymen/Assemblywomen and Senators every year manage to keep our Adoptees Rights Bill A909/S2490A locked up in some state Committee and it never goes to the floor of the New York State Assembly and Senate for vote! We have the verbal support of most of Assemblymen and Senators, but the Bill A909/S2490A never makes it to the floor for them to vote !
