The State of California requires 50 signatures in order for them to produce an Air Medal License plate that several other states have provided for recipients of the Air Medal.
Why is this important?
The California Department of Motor Vehicles provides Veteran plates and special unit plates to include plates that display certain awards. Other states provide plates that display the Air Medal to those who have earned it while serving. We need 50 signatures to provide to the DMV so that they will consider this special Air Medal plate
