Alabama elected should forfeit pay and be responsible to pay for special sessions as they wasted the money and time.
Why is this important?
The elected Legislators in Alabama cost the Sate, according to 33/40 news, $320,000.00 on a recent special session to address the budget shortfall. Nothing was achieved except bills not related to the budget. So now a second special session will be called. And another $320,000.00 will be spent. These wasteful Legislators should forfeit any pay and be responsible for paying for the costs of both special sessions.
