Recent and ongoing actions affecting election campaign funding and redistricting to the advantage of party affiliation have had a devastating effect on voter influence on elections. The Constitution does not guarantee voter equality. I am petitioning on the 10th Amendment to stop these insults to and usurpations of voter representation and equality.
Why is this important?
The Declaration of Independence states that We believe all men are created equal. The framers of our U.S. Constitution endeavored to insure we would always be treated equal. Lincoln's Gettysburg Address resolves to prolong a nation of the people, by the people, for the people. But our current forms of government has lately made infringements on and usurpations of our most sacred American value. Voter representation.
