The Alabama Legislature should amend their laws to allow for online voting in state and local elections. This should also be allowed in federal elections as well. The risk of fraud would be allayed by modern encryption techniques for which the legislature can provide by law.
Why is this important?
I believe that providing for voting online would increase access to the polls, increase participation by the electorate, and make voting and counting of votes more convenient and organized with little or no risk of fraud because of encryption requirements.
