To: John Roberts, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court
Amendment to Amendments
We the undersigned wish to Amend the Constitution of the United States as follows. When an Amendment to the Constitution is passed that overturns a Supreme Courte decision of an active court - such as Citizens Unitied - the Chief Justice of that court shall be demoted to a junior member of the court and the President shall appoint a new Chief Justice from among the members of the Supreme Court who opposed the overturned decision.
Why is this important?
The Supreme Court's power needs to be checked. Amend the constitution such that:
When a constitutional amendment is passed in order to overturn a Supreme Court ruling, the Chief Justice shall me demoted to a junior member of the court and the President shall choose a new Chief Justice.
