Please demand that the US enumerate, examine and publicly document the performance of all treaties with Native populations, ie First Nations and indigenous people living here and in currently occupied locations before the European Colonies, and all colonized and or occupied entities. And highlight the broken treaties that resulted in loss for these people as well as why and by whom these treaties were broken. Establish solutions agreeable to the injured parties as per the resolutions of the UN.
Why is this important?
America has never honestly or sincerely honored it's treaties with First Nations people. From the first to the most recent, they have been deceitful, duplicitous agreements designed to augment and obscure the theft of land and resources. They have all suffered in our collective name, and this is wrong- and can be addressed with more than "sorry".
