Today's Congress is the most ineffective and lowest rated in the HISTORY of the United States of America. This Congress has passed the least amount of bills and laws, has not finalized a budget in a few years, has interjected one sided extreme ideological issues and politics into the everyday business of the Country, voluntarily disadvantaging the people, businesses, security, and economic stability of the Nation. In addition, This Congress aggressively engages in destructive practices that are beneath the dignity of their elected positions. We are calling for the American People to Hold This Congress Accountable By Furloughing 100% of Their Salaries, DAY FOR DAY UNTIL THE GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN IS RESOLVED!
Why is this important?
I am starting this petition because as a hard working, tax paying American citizen; I can no longer just watch this incompetence on television! I am an employee that is barely paid for a job well done, at the same time I am an employer who elected/hired members of This Congress and paying significant amounts taxes for a job barely done. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
