Anti-Bullying Squad (ABS)

This petition encourages school principals to establish anti-bullying squads (ABS) to protect the targets of bullying. Composed of volunteers from athletic/academic/social groups in the schools, the squads will befriend/protect/serve as a big brother or sister to those who are picked on by bullies. The plan costs nothing but benefits three groups: the victims; the squad members who can list this service on college or job applications when they reach junior/senior years; and the school, which will be actively involved in preventing potential tragedies/lawsuits.
