This petition is supporting anti-gay bullying. Within public schools across America, if a grade schooler or a high schooler is bullied because of sexual preference, the bully will be suspended for an amount of time from that school. If a child is bullied because of one or both parents are gay, the bully will be suspended for an amount of time from that school. We do not need to tolerate homophobia within schools any longer.
Why is this important?
I was bullied in high school continuously because of my sexual preference. I was bullied not only my students, but teachers as well.
