A Constitutional amendment giving the President of the United States the power to enact legislation by sole executive order if Congress is unable or refuses to work on a compromise solution to any specific problem for two or more years of any Presidential term. Such executive legislation can only be vetoed by a majority of both the House and Senate ... otherwise it will remain law of the land.
Why is this important?
The majority of the voting public believes in compromised government solutions to many of the country's current problems. A "my way or the highway" minority must not be allowed to paralyze enactment of the legislation required to move this country forward. A powerless and helpless feeling voters derive from the political inaction/misbehavior of their elected Representatives and Senators must be circumvented.
